Labour's proposals will not solve national or social questions in either Scotland or Wales, but defeat for the antidemocratic unionism of the Tories will be a victory for workers and the oppressed throughout the British state, be they in England, Ireland, Scotland or Wales.

It is also clear that the existence of bodies of Scottish and Welsh government combined with continuing regional can themselves decide on their relations with the EU.
