DEFEND OUR UNIONS
We are writing to ask for your support for 400 airline catering workers at LSG SkyChefs, members of the TGWU.
We have been sacked for going on an official, legal, one-day strike against
an employer that is clearly out to break our unions:
· They have imposed new working conditions on the workforce, without agreeing compensation;
· That have broken the procedures laid down for disputes;
· They have refused to go to arbitration;
· They have gone to the High Court to prevent a strike that 75% supported;
This is a vital dispute - if LSG succeed, this will give confidence to any employer hoping to attempt the same strategy. Your turn could be next.
Please do anything you can to help us. We and our families may have to face Christmas on the picket-line, instead of earning.
Our employers enjoy all the resources of a major global corporation - all we have is the goodwill and support of ordinary working people, like yourselves.
But we are still confident of victory, just so long as we are not left to fight alone.

The picket line welcomes visitors. It is on Faggs Road near Hatton Cross Tube (Piccadilly Line; also served by numerous buses). By road, take the A30 from London to Hatton Cross (the first road junction after the A312). Turn left just before Hatton Cross (there is no left turn opposite the tube station); the picket is on the right about 1/3 rd of a mile down after 1 set of traffic lights.
Please pass resolutions of support through your union and/or Labour Party branch, (especially T&G). International support, especially from airline workers, is useful.
