Michael Cooper stood as National Democratic Party candidate. In May candidate for Hull City Council.
Cooper slipped onto the school govering body in an uncontested election.
An NUT member at the school says: "The staff at Andrew Marvell School were shocked and amazed to learn that one of their parent-governors. Mike cooper. was stanoing for ciccoon fu Parliament in the Hemsworth by-cloc tion. This organisation puts forward extreme right-wing views which are based on racist ideas.
"These views are directly opposed to the ethos of the school and the school's policy of equal opportunities for all. Teachers and other staff at the school have signed a petition calling for the removal of Cooper from the goveming body."
Local anti-fascists have launched a campaign for Cooper's removal. The Anti-Nazi League has petitioned parents and houses. Cooper is trying to he "has done nothing wrong". Members of Hull Trades Council and the local National Union of Teachers (NUT) will be ensuring that the parents and teachers of East Hull are made aware of Cooper's Nazi Views.
