Fields has already announced his intention to stand, and Nellist will almost certainty stand as weut Their candidacies could find a wide ecno of support inside the labour movement, way bevond the ranks of the or ganised hard left. But for these candidacies to be worthwhile, they must seek endorsement in their local labour movements, the widest possible backing within the official labour move ment, on a national and local basis.
