Union activists point out that the ex-general se cretary, Steve Turner, was sacked due to his tanure to carry out union policies. Now Ecclestone is doing exactly the same. Meanwhile Dutch print unions have increased their support for the strikers.

In addition, Ecclestone must be brought to book at the unions coming conference. If it does not result ina leadership that carries out the union's policies, nothing will have been gained from the whole Steve Turner saga.
