I enclose a copy of a leaflet for two public events being organised on the weekend of 14/15 November.
The Saturday event has several veteran Trotskyists discussing the early years of the movement and will be informative and educational to those who are interested in the history of the movement.
The Sunday Socialist Outlook event has several international speakers, amongst them comrades from Ireland and the Israeli state talking about the 'peace processes', and Livio Maitan from Italy, who will be able to report on the role played by the Trotskyists in the defeat of the Prodi government.
We are inviting other organisations to provide bookstalls at one or both of these events. We are charging £10 per table per day for bookstalls. This is, of course, in addition to the entry charge for comrades working on the stalls. We will, however, only allow stalls if they are booked and paid for in advance.
If you wish to book stalls please let us know (with cheques payable to 'Socialist Outlook') as soon as possible, making it clear for which day(s) and how many tables you are booking.
We hope that some of your comrades will attend these events regardless of whether you intend to boo stalls. Should you want any further copies of the leaflets for either event or have any other queries please get in touch.
